Crewkernia,[1] vulgo Crewkerne, est oppidum Somersetensis comitatus in Anglia occidentali situm, ubi nundinae tenebantur ab anno 997, mercatus autem ab anno 1280.[2] Ibi hominum fere 7 000 nostro tempore habitant. Summa valle Pedredi fluminis stat.

Ecclesia S. Bartholomaei saeculis XV et XVI maxima parte constructa est. Scholam grammaticam Carolus Edmundus Giles et Hugo Roumieu Gough annis 1876-1882 designaverunt.
