Cryptonephridium est structura praesens in plurimis larvis papilionum aliorumque insectorum (praecipue coleopterorum) quae in circumiectibus xericis habitant. Id est accommodatio ad aquam conservandam.[1][2] Tubulae Malpighianae intra hemocelam? non sunt liberae, sed ad murum recti a membrana perinephritica adligantur. Haec structura efficientem aquae resorptionem per diuresim effectam et absorptionem aquae atmosphericae quae in intestino posterori ut humiditas adest sinit.
