Eukaryota (nomen a Whittaker & Margulis anno 1978 a verbis Graecis creatum: εὐ- 'bonus, bene' + κάρυον 'nucleus') sunt omnia vitalia quae nucleum, mitochondria, et organella in suis cellulis possident. Regna animalium, plantarum, fungorum, chromistorum et protistorum sunt eukaryota.

Lichenes sunt praecipuus casus, quia ex fungis et algis constant.

Praecipuus casus et Myxomycetes sunt, quia maximas cellulas cum multis nucleis formant. Cellulae non solent vallum habere, sed si fructuant, myxomycetes cellulas cum vallo formant.
