Schema cellulae typicae animalis. In cytoplasmate, organella maiora et structurae cellulares demonstratae sunt: (1) nucleolus, (2) nucleus, (3) ribosoma, (4) vesicula, (5) reticulum endoplasmaticum granulosum, (6) apparatus Golgi, (7) cytosceletus, (8) reticulum endoplasmaticum leve, (9) mitochondria, (10) vacuola, (11) cytoplasma, (12) lysosoma, (13) centriola.

Organellum[1] in biologia cellulari est structura cellulae propriam habens functionem, et bicorio lipidorum plerumque inclusa. Sunt multa genera organellorum praesertim in cellulis eucaryoticis, ut puta nucleus, mitochondrium et chloroplastus. Olim procaryota organellis carere putabantur, sed aliquot exempla iam reperta sunt.[2]
