Carmarthenshire (walisisk Sir Gaerfyrddin eller Sir Gâr) er eit sameint styresmakt sørvest i Wales og ein av tretten historiske grevskap. Dei tre største byane er Carmarthen, Llanelli og Ammanford. Administrasjonsstad er Carmarthen og den største byen er Llanelli.
Med frodig landskap og mykje jordbruk er Carmarthenshire kjnd som «hagen i Wales».[2]
