Nukleozidi su glikozilamini koji se sastoje od nukleobaza (one se često jednostavno nazivaju baze) vezanih za ribozne ili dezoksiribozne šećere putem beta-glikozidne veze. Primeri nukleozida su citidin, uridin, adenozin, guanozin, timidin i inozin.[1][2]
