Elizabeth D. Sherwood-Randall (born October 4, 1959) is an American politician and writer. She was the 11th United States Homeland Security Advisor to President Joe Biden from 2021 until 2025. She was the 18th United States Deputy Secretary of Energy from 2014 to 2017. Afterwards, she taught at Harvard University and at the Georgia Institute of Technology.[1]
