Gal Gadot (aka Gal Gadot-Varsano; /ˈɡɑːl ɡɑːˈdɒt/ GAH-l GAH-do-T;^[1] Hebrew: גל גדות; born 30 April 1985)^[2] is an Israeli actress and model. Gadot won Miss Israel 2004, before serving in the Israel Defence Forces. She played Gisele Yashar in the 2009 movie Fast and Furious. Gadot also played Wonder Woman in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice in 2016.^[3] She appeared in the solo movie Wonder Woman (2017) and again as Wonder Woman in Justice League (2017).

In 2013, she was ranked as the second highest earning fashion model in Israel.^[4] She is the face of Gucci's Bamboo perfume.^[5]

In 2019, Gadot formed her production company Pilot Wave, alongside her husband Yaron Varsano. Since the formation of the company, a number of projects have been announced, including a number of biographical films about important female historical figures, including Irena Sendler, Hedy Lamarr and Cleopatra.

In February 2024, Gadot was rushed to the hospital while eight months pregnant and diagnosed with CVT, a rare form of stroke that accounts for less than 3% of all strokes^[6]. She underwent emergency surgery to remove a "massive" blood clot from her brain. In December 2024, Gadot stated that she was fully recovered. ^[7]
