Mahamudu Bawumia (born 7 October 1963) is a Ghanaian politician and former central banker. He was the fifth vice president of Ghana from 2017 to 2025.[2][3][4][5][6]

Bawumia was the unsuccessful New Patriotic Party (NPP) nominee for president in the 2024 general election.[7][8][9]
