Mohammed Ali Salim

Mohammed Ali Salim (1935 – 28 January 2022) was a Libyan politician. He was the Acting Chairman of the General National Congress of Libya. He was the oldest member of Libya's first democratically elected legislature until Mohamed Yousef el-Magariaf was appointed permanent chair.[1][2] In 2012, he was the President of the General National Congress of Libya.

Salim died in Tunisia on 28 January 2022, at the age of 87.[3]
