Kiasi

Kiasi (kwa Kiingereza temperance, kutoka Kilatini temperantia; kwa Kigiriki σωφροσύνη, sofrosune) ni adili linaloratibu matumizi ya vitu, binadamu asije akatawaliwa na tamaa^[1][2][3].

Pamoja na falsafa^[4][5][6][7], dini nyingi^{[8][9][10][11]} na baadhi ya wanasaikolojia^{[12] [13]}wanasifu adili hilo na kuhimiza kulitekeleza (k.mf. kwa njia ya usafi wa moyo, upole^[14] na saumu^[15]).

Katika Ukristo ni mojawapo kati ya maadili bawaba yanayotegemeza maadili mengine yote ya kiutu. Hasa Wakatoliki wanasisitiza usafi wa moyo na upole kama matawi muhimu zaidi ya adili la kiasi.
