Waamba

Waamba (kwa lugha yao: Baamba) ni kabila la Kibantu wanaoishi kusini kwa ziwa Albert, upande wa Uganda (Wilaya ya Bundibugyo) na kidogo upande wa Jamhuri ya Kidemokrasia ya Kongo (mkoa wa Kivu Kusini).

Wanakadiriwa kuwa 40,000 hivi.

Lugha ya wengi wao ni Kiamba (Kwamba, pia: Bulebule, Hamba, Humu, Kihumu, Ku-Amba, Kuamba, Lubulebule, Lwamba, Ruwenzori Kibira na Rwamba), mojawapo kati ya lugha za Kibantu.

Tangu zamani ni wakulima, na kwa sasa wengi ni Wakristo[1].

Mwaka 2008 serikali imetambua rasmi Ufalme wa Rwenzururu, ulioundwa na Waamba pamoja na Wakonjo: ndio ufalme wa kwanza wa Uganda unaounganisha makabila mawili.[2]
