Screwball komedisi

Screwball komedisi, Amerikalıların bulduğu bir komedi türüdür. Bu tür ABD'de yaşanan Büyük Buhran döneminde yani 1930'ların başından 1940'ların başına kadar popülerliğini korumuştur. Bu türün birçok ikincil özelliği film noir türüyle benzerlik gösterir ama film noir'dan farklı olarak erkek ana karakterle olan ilişkisinde kadın karakter baskın bir durumdadır.^[1]
