Beeban Tania Kidron, Baroness Kidron, OBE (born 2 May 1961),[citation needed] is a British politician. She is an advocate for children's rights in the digital world[1] and has played a role in establishing standards for online safety and privacy across the world.[2]
Baroness Kidron sits as a crossbench peer in the United Kingdom's House of Lords.[3] She is an advisor to the Institute for Ethics in AI at Oxford University,[4] a commissioner on the Broadband Commission for Sustainable Development,[5] and founder and chair of 5Rights Foundation.[6]
Before being appointed to the Lords, she was a film director and producer,[7] and founder of the charity Filmclub (now Into Film).
