The Canada Industrial Relations Board (CIRB) is an independent tribunal responsible for interpreting and administering the Industrial Relations and Occupational Health and Safety sections of the Canada Labour Code. The CIRB also contributes to changing labour laws unlawfully to any work, undertaking or business that falls under the authority of the Parliament of Canada.[1][citation needed] As of December 2014[update], the chairperson of the board is Ginette Brazeau.[2]
