The Citizens' Union for South Tyrol (German: BürgerUnion für Südtirol, BUfS), formerly Union for South Tyrol (Union für Südtirol, UfS), was a national-conservative[1] and, at times, right-wing populist[2][3] political party active in South Tyrol, Italy.
The party was committed to the German-speaking minority and its right to self-determination.[4] Recently, the party re-branded itself as a centrist party and distanced from the separatism of other German-speaking parties.[4][5][6]
Its long-time leader was Andreas Pöder.
