Dean Cochran (born March 18, 1969), is an American actor.
Cochran was born in New Orleans, Louisiana.[citation needed] A graduate of Tulane University,[citation needed] he began his acting career in college, appearing in the film Blue Sky[citation needed] and winning an international acting competition.[citation needed]
Cochran has performed the lead roles in Shakespeare plays,[where?][when?] including Macbeth, Henry V, Hamlet and The Two Gentlemen of Verona,[citation needed] as well as A Streetcar Named Desire, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and Burn This.[citation needed]
After moving to Los Angeles,[when?] Cochran guest starred in network television series roles.[citation needed] In 2007 Cochran began a recurring role in the soap opera The Bold and the Beautiful as Detective Troy Scott,[citation needed] and in 2008 appeared in Meet the Spartans, where he spoofs Rocky Balboa and Rambo.[citation needed]
He is married to former Miss USA Brandi Sherwood.[citation needed]
