Into the Night is a Belgian apocalyptic science fiction drama thriller television series created by Jason George, inspired by the 2015 Polish science fiction novel The Old Axolotl by Jacek Dukaj.[1][2] The series premiered on Netflix on May 1, 2020.[3] It is Netflix's first Belgian original series.[4] On July 1, 2020, the series was renewed by Netflix for a second season.[5] The second season premiered on September 8, 2021, while a Turkish language submarine-set spin-off, Yakamoz S-245, was released on April 20, 2022.[6]
