Sir Philip Henry Montgomery Campbell FRS FRAS FInstP[4] (born 19 April 1951)[2] is a British astrophysicist. He served as editor-in-chief[3] of the peer reviewed scientific journal Nature from 1995 to 2018.[5][3][6][7][8] From 2018 he was the Editor-in-Chief of the publishing company Springer Nature until his retirement in May 2023.
