Red heifer

A Red Angus cow which is grown by the Temple Institute for the red heifer sacrifice and burning in the reconstruction of the Third Temple in Jerusalem, Israel.

The red heifer (Hebrew: פָּרָה אֲדֻמָּה, romanizedparah adumah) was a reddish brown cow sacrificed by Temple priests as a purifcation ritual in biblical times.[1]
