He is best known for playing Ryan Matthews on the CW teen drama series 90210 (2008–2011), Tom Keen on the NBC crime drama series The Blacklist (2013–2017) and its spin-off series The Blacklist: Redemption (2017), and hospital director Dr. Max Goodwin on the NBC medical drama series New Amsterdam (2018–2023).
