The Same Old Story (Russian: Обыкнове́нная исто́рия, romanized: Obyknovennaya istorya) is the first novel by Ivan Goncharov, written between 1844 and 1846 and published in 1847.[1] It has also been published in English under the titles A Common Story and An Ordinary Story.
