Steven Grant, is a western trained Zen teacher and has been ordained as a priest in both the Soto and Rinzai traditions. After a brief residential training at Dai Bosatsu Zendo Kongo-ji Steven received monk precepts (1994) under Genki Takabayashi, Roshi at Dai Bai Zan Cho Bo Zen Ji. After Genki Roshi retired in 1997, Steven continued his temple training under Diane Rizetto of the Ordinary Mind Zen School and was ordained as a Monk (2002) and later as a Priest (2005) in the lineage of the Ordinary Mind Zen School and White Plum Asanga. Steven parted ways with Diane in 2010 and is now a Priest and Dharma Teacher under John Tarrant, Roshi and teaches at Pacific Zen Institute.
