I am the MetalMan227. I edit articles on this site about bands whose Wikipedia information may not be the most accurate. I also add genres for albums that currently don't have one yet by using multiple sources of insight such as Rate Your Music and others.

I enjoy all kinds of metal, including heavy metal, thrash metal, death metal, doom metal, and others. Just not black metal. I'm just not a fan. Some of my favorite metal bands range from bands like Metallica, Slayer, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, and Black Sabbath to bands like Napalm Death, Cannibal Corpse, Autopsy, Death, and Obituary.

I also enjoy rock bands too like Van Halen, AC/DC, KISS, and Misfits. All kinds of genres are welcome here in my book beyond that, including techno and hip-hop. I enjoy old-school hip-hop artists like Tupac and Biggie Smalls.

So yeah, that's my music interests. I am no music snob, and I give everything a shot.
