Visa requirements for Indian citizens

Visa requirements for Indian citizens are administrative entry restrictions by the authorities of other states placed on citizens of India.

As of 2025, Indian citizens have visa-free or visa on arrival access to 57 countries and territories, ranking the Indian passport 85^th in the world according to the Henley Passport Index^[1], down from 80^th in 2024.^[2]

As the index uses dense ranking, in certain cases, a rank is shared by multiple countries because these countries all have the same level of visa-free or visa-on-arrival access.

With visa-free entry to 26 countries, visa on arrival facility to 46 countries and ETA to 3 countries, India is 70 out of 95 in Global Passport Power Rank.^[3]
