This WikiProject, WikiProject Palaeontology, aims to organise an effort to expand and improve Wikipedia's coverage of palaeontology-related articles. Please feel free to ask questions on our talk page or our chatroom.

We are currently working towards five major milestones:

200 featured articles: 61.5% complete

500 good articles: 52% complete

10% of all articles rated B-class or better: 51.4% complete

20,000 articles rated Start-class or better: 42.2% complete

Revision and approval of the 25 taxon articles
that were promoted to featured article status before 2010: 4% complete
