Aldon Douglas Morris (born June 15, 1949) is emeritus professor of sociology at Northwestern University and member of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, whose work involves social movements, civil rights, and social inequality.[4] He was the 2021 president of the American Sociological Association.[5] He is best known for his work on sociologist W. E. B. Du Bois.
