Alexandre Jean-Baptiste Brun (Marseille, 3 November 1853, Marseille; 5 November 1941) was a French painter, a pupil of Alexandre Cabanel, Carolus-Duran and Félix Bracquemond.[1] He is especially known for his many marine paintings and a collection of watercolors on dark wash representing orchids.
