André Schmid (born 30 August 1983) is a Swiss retired handballer.[1] He retired in February 2024.[2] At the same time he announced that he would be taking over as a head coach of the Swiss national team.[2]
He has the record for both most matches and most goals for the Swiss national team.
He was inducted into the EHF Hall of Fame in 2024.[3]
