Ferdinand Friedrich Hoff (born 6 January 1867 in Bergenhusen; died 16 October 1942 in Kiel) was a teacher and member of the German Reichstag.[1]
Hoff attended elementary school, preparatory school and seminary in Eckernförde from 1884 to 1887. From 1887 he was a teacher in Kiel. He served in the 85th Infantry Regiment. From 1906 he was a city councilor in Kiel and from 1907 a member of the Prussian House of Representatives for the Kiel- Rendsburg constituency.[2] He wrote numerous essays on cultural policy and economics.
From 1912 to 1918 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Schleswig-Holstein Province 5 (Norderdithmarschen, Süderdithmarschen, Steinburg) and the Progressive People's Party.[3] From 1921 to 1932 he was a member of the Prussian Landtag for the German Democratic Party.
