Eduard Ayangwa Folayang (born November 22, 1983) is a Filipino mixed martial artist and wushu practitioner who fights in ONE Championship, where he is a two-time ONE Lightweight World Champion.[1] He also competed for Universal Reality Combat Championship, where he is a former URCC Welterweight Champion.[2]
Folayang was a member of Team Lakay Wushu in Baguio from 2007 until he left the gym on March 10, 2023, which has produced numerous Filipino champions in URCC and ONE Championship.[3][4] The Baguio native made his first Martial Combat debut on June 17, 2010, defeating Slovak fighter Egon Racz via guillotine choke early in the first round.[3]
Folayang has won several international Wushu tournaments, including a gold medal at the 2011 Southeast Asian Games which he won with a spinning back kick KO in the final,[5] a silver medal in the 2006 Doha Asian Games, and bronze medals in both the 2005 World Wushu Championship and the 2002 Busan Asian Games.[6]
