Gempenach (former French name: Champagny; Arpitan: Champagni [tsɑ̃paˈɲi] ⓘ) is a former municipality in the district of See in the canton of Fribourg in Switzerland. On 1 January 2022 the former municipalities of Galmiz, Gempenach and Clavaleyres (Canton of Bern) merged into the municipality of Murten.
