Okabena (/oʊkəˈbiːnə/ OH-kə-BEE-nə)[4] is a town in Jackson County, Minnesota, United States. The population was 203 at the 2020 census.[5] The community's name is a Dakota term meaning "the nesting place of herons."[6]
