Telfa (Nokia-Bydgoszcz) is a company founded in 1927, one of the oldest existing telecommunications industry factories in Poland.
During Soviet time, it was known as Zakłady Teleelektroniczne Telkom-Telfa. In 1992, it was part of the AT&T holding and later a subsidiary of Lucent Technologies, renamed in 2006 Alcatel-Lucent group. Since 2016, the firm has been controlled by Nokia.
The Bydgoszcz site includes a Research and Development Center from Bell Labs, one of the world leading R&D company.
