Trace Urban (formerly MCM Africa then Trace TV) is a French pay-TV music video television channel, that is owned by TPG Capital.[1] It is the parent channel of the various Trace music channels like Trace Africa and Trace Latina. It is the third most distributed French television channel in the world, dedicated to urban contemporary music and cultures (Rap, R&B, Hip-Hop, Dancehall, etc.) targeting an audience aged 15–34.
