De bontebok (Damaliscus pygargus, soms Damaliscus dorcas) is een antilope uit Zuid-Afrika en omringende landen. Hij is nauw verwant aan de lierantilope. Er zijn twee ondersoorten, de gewone bontebok (Damaliscus pygargus pygargus) en de blesbok (Damaliscus pygargus phillipsi).
