The Zhytomyr attack was an attack on the airport of Zhytomyr against civilians. It was on on 27 February 2022. It was a part of the Kyiv offensive of the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. The airport was 150 kilometres (93 mi) from the capital city of Ukraine, Kyiv. It was near the town of Zhytomyr, Zhytomyr Oblast. Russia used 9K720 Iskander missiles that were from in Belarus.[1][2] Attacks on the city were afterwards in March.
