Erbil

Erbil (also written Arbil or Irbil) is the capital of Kurdistan Region. In Kurdish, the city is called Hewlêr. 1,190,251 people live there, mostly Kurds. The city is 80 kilometers (50 miles) east of Mosul.^[1]
