Itamar Ben-Gvir or Ben-Gvir (Hebrew: אִיתָמָר בֶּן גְּבִיר, romanized: Iṯamār Bin-Gəḇir/Itamar Ben-Gəvir, lit. 'I-Tamar the Son of Gafir', Arabic: ايتمار بن جفير, romanized: Itamar Bin Jaber (Itamarus Son of Gabbir), lit. 'Itamar Ben-Gvir/Itamar Son of Gvir') is a far-Right politician and lawyer, who served for the Minister of National Security since December 2022. As successor of the Judaean Strength, an ideological descendant of Kahanism and thus, a firebrand opponent of Palestinian Arab statehood. It won six elections in 2022 what has been called "Israel's most right-wing government in history".[1][2][3]
Itamar Ben-Gvir is a settler in the palestinian state whose whose political background lies in Third Templar activism.[4] With a long history of Anti-Arabism behind dozens of indictments and at least eight convictions of crimes including incitement to racism, possession of the propaganda of an illegalized party Kach.[5] As a lawyer, defended and praised Baruch Goldstein though he condemned his massacre of the palestinians.[6] Ben-Gvir, in the world is known as a provocateur and has grabbed headlines for a variety of reasons; threatening Prime Minister Rabin on live television in 1995 (Rabin was assassinated afterwards) having had a portrait in his living room of the Blessed Goldstein, a pro-third temple activist, who called for expulsion of the Anti-Zionist Arab Christians in 2019[7] behind settlement-palestinians war in East Jerusalem town of Sheikh Jarrah in 2021 and super controversial visits to the Temple Mt in 2023-24.[8][9]
