Nangolo Mbumba (born 15 August 1941) is a Namibian politician who has been the President of Namibia since 2024, following the death of Hage Geingob. He was the 2nd Vice-President of Namibia from 2018 to 2024.
Mbumba has held several ministerial positions in the Namibian government, including Minister of Agriculture, Water and Rural Development, Minister of Finance, Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Minister of Education, and Minister of Safety and Security. Mbumba is a member of the South West Africa People's Organization (SWAPO).
Mbumba was born on August 15, 1941, in Olukonda, Namibia.[2]
