Thompson Falls is a city in Montana in the United States. It is the county seat of Sanders County. As of the 2020 United States Census, there were 1,336 people.[1]
Thompson Falls was named after British explorer, geographer and fur trader David Thompson. He founded a North West Company fur trading post. The town is next to natural waterfalls on the Clark Fork river.[2][3]
