The text of the policy reads:The move feature is able to move pages in any namespace (except category). I think it is wrong. Pages in category namespace can be moved too, however, moving them doesn't result in recategorization of the pages in the category with the old name. - What this means is that the category page itself (the page in the category namespace) cannot be moved. In fact, you don't even get a move button on those pages. Blockinblox - talk 20:23, 17 August 2007 (UTC)
