gamma-Aminobutyric acid, hoặc axit γ-aminobutyric /ˈɡæmə əˈmiːnoʊbjuːˈtɪrɪk ˈæsɪd/, hoặc GABA /ˈɡæbə/, là chất ức chế dẫn truyền thần kinh chính trong hệ thống thần kinh trung ương động vật có vú trưởng thành phát triển. Vai trò chính của nó là làm giảm sự kích thích thần kinh trong toàn bộ hệ thống thần kinh. Ở người, GABA cũng chịu trách nhiệm trực tiếp cho việc điều chỉnh trương lực cơ.^[2]

GABA được bán dưới dạng bổ sung chế độ ăn uống.
