Fidippid

Fidippid^[1] (yun. Φειδιππίδης) və ya Filippid^[2][3][4][5] (yun. Φιλιππίδης) — müasir idman növlərindən biri hesab olunan marafon yarışının yaranmasına səbəb olan hekayənin mərkəzi fiqurudur.^[6] Marafon döyüşü yunanların farslar üzərində parlaq qələbə qazanması ilə başa çatdıqdan sonra, bu xəbəri Afinaya çatdırmaq üçün Marafon şəhərindən Afinaya qədər piyada qaçmışdır.^{[7][8][9][10][11]} 42 km-lik yolu qət etdikdən sonra, onun ürəyi buna dözməmiş və o xəbəri verdikdən sonra vəfat etmişdir^[12][13][14]
