Synagoga sive proseucha[1] (Graece: συναγωγή, synagōgē, 'conventus' [ad verbum fere "coactio"]; Hebraice: בית כנסת beit knesset; Iudaeogermanice: שול shul; Iudaeohispanice: אסנוגה esnoga) est congregatio et locus, quo Iudaei ad Deum colendum conveniunt. In synagoga etiam licet studiis religiosis exerceri.
Hebraice synagoga appellatur beit knesset, id est fere 'domus conventus'.
