Die Wale (Frans: Wallons, [walɔ̃]; Waals: Walons) is 'n Franstalige volk wat in België, hoofsaaklik in Wallonië, leef. Wale is 'n kenmerkende etniese gemeenskap binne België.[2] Belangrike historiese en antropologiese kriteria (godsdiens, taal, tradisies en folklore) verbind Wale met die Franse volk.[3][4] Meer algemeen verwys die term ook na die inwoners van die Waalse Streek. Hulle praat plaaslike tale soos Waals (met Pikardies in die weste en Lorreins in die suide). Wale is die afstammelinge van Galloromeine met 'n Germaans-Frankiese vermenging.
